Water in Niger: RAIN in the classroom

Posted in School Presentations USA by rain4sahara on June 14, 2010

RAIN director Bess Palmisciano and Ann Keefe’s 4th grade class in Newmarket, NH shared thoughts about water, Africa and conservation.  These students, on a cold, wet day in New Hampshire, found slides of sand dunes and Niger children fascinating.  Students were intrigued by smiles on faces of children living in obvious poverty.  And the lack of water was stunning.  All learned that it’s easy to save water and be doing so we help us of those with whom we share the planet!

Bravo Newmarket Grade 4 and thank you for your donations to RAIN!
